I only accept a limited number of weddings per year in order to keep the quality of my photography and customer service at the highest level possible. Each wedding gets 100% of my time and attention. Typically, a wedding commission, including the day itself, the editing and album design will take up to a week of my time. I am a full time professional photographer and as such you must only expect professional results.

Wedding Packages - I have different levels of coverage ranging from a few hours to the whole day. Prices vary according to the extent of coverage of your day and your desired end product. I have based my prices very competitively and provide a service of the highest standards. All prices are inclusive, no hourly rates are charged nor is VAT.

I am always more than happy to discuss individual requirements and quote accordingly. For small weddings and for mid-week, or out of season bookings I can offer a special price.

Design Service - I am able to design and print Wedding Books even if I have not taken the photographs. All you need is the copyright to the images and the high resolution files. Full design, print and bind including colour correction and image enhancement. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

How do we book you? - I will give you a bespoke quotation for your wedding. Once this is approved I will send you a booking form which should be returned with a booking fee of £300 to secure and validate your day. I receive more enquiries per year than there are days available and this means I am unable to provisionally hold any date without payment of the booking fee. All dates are booked on a first come first served basis.

If you would like to organize your own album this option represents very good value. This gives you the freedom and flexibility to print your own photographs, make your own photo book, albums or wall products and share the digital files with friends and family. Alternatively, I can provide photographic prints and a range of modern and traditional styles of albums. All the full size digital photographs are supplied on a CD/DVD in a presentation case.

Booking a Photographer

A skilfully photographed wedding album will be one of the most adored and precious items that is kept and loved many years after your wedding day. As well as conveying the emotions, romance and humour of the day, they are a testament to your relationship. Needless to say, such an important part of your lives should be captured by a highly qualified professional wedding photographer.

Why should I even bother booking a photographer when my Uncle Harry has a great camera?

Remember, it’s not the great camera that takes the photo, it’s the photographer. Although a friend or family member may be a great amateur photographer, they will not have the experience, equipment or knowledge of a professional photographer. Quality wedding photography does not happen by chance. It is created by a specialised professional who has a creative eye and a genuine love of people and wedding photography. Your photographer will also need to co-ordinate the flow of the day, know all the types of shots that need taking and must be able to do all of this in variable weather and sometimes difficult time constraints.

A specialist wedding photographer can provide a fantastic story telling role and will be able to help you before during and after the day. Before you dismiss the thought of using a professional photographer for financial reasons, perhaps look at ways you may be able to afford one. You may be able to re-prioritise the wedding budget, or you could ask guests to provide money towards the photography as a gift.

Why does wedding photography cost this much?

Professional photography is expensive because of labour and material costs. Good professional photographers also use professional equipment, albums an books and unlike amateur products, these are higher in cost. There is the photographers high overheads and their time to consider. Even though you may only see them for about 15 hours before, during and after the day, they will also spend at least 40 to 60 hours producing your album. You really though, are paying for the value of a photographers style, experience, qualifications and expertise and not just for time, materials and overheads
